This Privacy Policy describes how Wave Digital Studio ("we", "us", or "our"), located in Spain, collects, uses, and protects information when merchants use the Market Boost Shopify application ("the App"). The App helps merchants configure country-specific shipping information and display Unique Selling Points (USPs) across storefront and checkout based on Shopify Markets.

Information We Collect

Shopify Store Data

When you install and use the App, we access limited store data required for the App to function, including:

• Store details (e.g., shop domain) to authenticate and operate the embedded app.
• Markets and country configuration (e.g., active markets, country codes) to localize USPs.
• Shipping configuration you enter (e.g., shipping rate, free shipping threshold, delivery time) per country.
• USP content you create (labels, ordering, and chosen icons, including uploaded icons).

We do not collect customer PII, payment information, or order contents for the purposes of this App.

Webshipper Integration

If you choose to connect Webshipper, you may provide credentials to fetch shipping rates, delivery times, and thresholds for supported countries. These credentials are used solely to retrieve shipping data and to keep your country settings in sync.

Usage Data

We may collect limited technical and diagnostic data to keep the App reliable and secure, such as:

• App interaction logs, basic performance metrics, and error reports.
• IP address and browser/user agent for security, fraud prevention, and troubleshooting.
• Non-identifying sync status (e.g., success/failure when fetching external data).

If you contact us for support, we may receive your name, email address, and any information you include in your message.

How We Use Information

• Provide and operate the App: Localize and display USPs across storefront and checkout, manage per-country settings, and run optional integrations.
• Maintain and improve: Monitor performance, resolve errors, and enhance functionality.
• Support: Respond to requests and provide customer assistance.
• Security and compliance: Protect the App and comply with applicable laws.

Processing, Storage, and Retention

• Location: Data is processed within the EU/EEA where feasible. Hosting and sub-processors may operate in other regions with appropriate safeguards.
• Retention: We retain configuration and integration data for as long as the App is installed or as required by law. Upon uninstall, shop data is deleted in accordance with Shopify's compliance requirements.
• Security: We use technical and organizational measures to protect data against unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure.

Data Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We may share limited data only in these cases:

• Service providers: To operate, host, and support the App under confidentiality and security obligations.
• Integrations you enable: For example, Webshipper, strictly to retrieve shipping information you request.
• Legal: To comply with laws, regulations, or valid legal requests.
• Business transfers: In a merger, acquisition, or asset transfer, subject to continued protection of the data.

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. EU/EEA residents have additional rights under the GDPR, including the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

Cookies

The App may use minimal cookies necessary for functionality and security (for example, remembering your last used shop domain to streamline login). You can control cookies through your browser settings.

The App is not intended for individuals under 16 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
